Date of 2009 European Parliamentary elections confirmed.

European Parliamentary elections are due to take place across Europe between 4 and 7 June 2009. The UK Government has now confirmed that the date of the election in the UK will be Thursday 4 June 2009. On this day the whole of the UK will vote for MEPs (Members of the European Parliament) to represent us in Europe. We will be publishing more information on these elections soon.
